Packing like a pro: a quick guide

  • Essential Travel Essentials: Keep your passport and airline ticket close at hand, and it's always a good idea to have a photocopy of your passport with you.

  • Pack Light, Pack Right: Don't stress about overpacking. Stick to comfortable and versatile clothing that you can easily layer for changing weather conditions. For example, daytime hours may be warm, but the evenings can be chilly depending on the time of year.

  • Modest Attire for Holy Sites: Remember to dress modestly when visiting holy sites. Ensure your shoulders and knees must be covered for both men and women and men must cover their heads. On days that we visit these sites, we will let you know ahead of time to dress accordingly. Women might bring a long skirt to wear over shorts and use a scarf to cover the shoulders and remove once we leave the site.

  • Medications in Carry-On: Don't forget to pack your medications in your carry-on bag, preferably in their original, labeled containers. If you use a pillbox, take a photo of your pills with the bottle. This way, you can provide proof, if necessary, that the pills are either prescribed medication or simply vitamins.

  • Emergency Clothing in Carry-On: Be prepared for any luggage delays by packing a spare set of clothes in your carry-on. If you're traveling with a partner, consider sharing clothes between your suitcases.

Feel free to personalize these suggestions based on your preferences!
